Staff from our FactorONE Perth office recently hosted a table at the Special Olympics Inspirational Women's Breakfast held at The Hyatt Regency Perth on 22 March.
Several clients were invited to join staff and all enjoyed hearing from special guests Krista McMeekan, Dr. Nicky Howe and Priya Cooper OAM while eating a hearty breakfast. Krista McMeekan was a 2015 Finalist Telstra Business Women's Awards, Priya Cooper OAM is a World Champion Paralympic Swimmer and Dr Nicky Howe is the CEO of Southcare and 2014 Finalist Telstra Business Women's Awards.
Over 130 guests attended the breakfast and the event raised almost $12,000 for Special Olympics Australia which provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with an intellectual disability.
