On Friday 22 July, FactorONE were proud sponsors and table hosts at the 2016 Special Olympics lunch hosted by ARITA (Australian Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association) at the Pullman Hotel in Brisbane.
The aim of the lunch was to raise much needed funds for the Special Olympics Australia, a not for profit organisation that provides year round sports training and competition for children and adults with an intellectual disability.
Karni Liddell, the inspiring Australian Paralympian and presenter, was the guest speaker for the event and engaged the audience with her amazing life story and achievements, despite living with the degenerative muscle wasting disease, Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
QLD FactorONE BDM, Matthew Thursfield, and QLD ScotPac Business Finance BDM, Amanda Bird, entertained guests at the table and a great afternoon was had by all.
A huge $31,198 was raised for this extremely worthy cause and FactorONE look forward to supporting future events.
