FactorONE are proud supporters of Special Olympics Australia and we were pleased to host a table at last week’s TMA Inspirational Women’s Breakfast at the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney.
Special Olympics Australia is a grass roots organisation dedicated to enriching the lives of Australians with an intellectual disability by providing sporting opportunities that also engage the broader community. They provide year round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic type sports, assisting both children and adults in a number of ways by focusing on their ability and not their disability.
Special Olympics Australia Ambassador, Peter Overton from Channel 9, hosted the event and there were some great Inspirational guest speakers including Raelene Castle, Chief Executive from Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, Layne Beachley, the most successful female surfer in history and Anne Sherry, CEO of Carnival Australia. A great morning was had by all in support of this very worthy cause.
